John 10:27-30: “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.I and the Father are one.”
There are some truths in Scripture that when you hear them, regardless of how many times, you have to pause and worship. This is one of those truths for me. As someone who loses things constantly, it is incredibly encouraging to know that my life is firmly in the hands of the Father.
He will never discard me.
He will never throw me out.
He will never forget about me.
I am His. He is mine. Forever and ever. Yahoo! The gift of eternal life can never be repossessed. Since I didn’t buy it, or take out a loan against it, it is eternal. That’s a long time. Thank you, Jesus!
As a follower, your identity is 100% secure in Christ. You don’t need to live in fear of losing your salvation. It’s yours!
I read a few years ago that the biggest payout in lotto history (over a billion dollars) went unclaimed. Could you imagine? Sitting on that much money and not knowing, or not caring. Well, the eternal life that’s available to everyone is just sitting there, waiting for you to cash it in. Don’t wait. Do it today!
Say yes to Jesus and know you are eternally His. Amen and Amen!
