When Lyndsey and I travel back to Nebraska to visit family, there is a stretch of highway where the only radio stations we get are Spanish-speaking. I don’t speak Spanish. I don’t understand what is being played. Sometimes, we leave it on the station because Cora likes the music, most of the time, we shut it off. When we tune in to something we don’t understand or that isn’t healthy for us, it causes chaos, confusion, and problems. When we get a clear signal, though, we aren’t confused. The same applies with tuning your ear to the wisdom and understanding found in God’s Word. We gain wisdom, understanding, clarity, and hope!
Proverbs 2:2: “Tune your ears to wisdom, and concentrate on understanding.”
What do you need to tune out so you can tune it to God’s Word?
