MWM: Focus

I am easily distracted. I am like a dog on a walk who sees a squirrel or a kid who sees a shiny object. Whenever I try to focus on one thing, my mind ends up wandering. Sometimes I am able to quickly refocus on the task at hand and other times I am not. Learning to discipline your mind and body is incredibly important in the Christian life. This is especially true when we are acquiring wisdom. In this Proverb about wisdom, we are encouraged to focus.

Proverbs 4:27: “Don’t get sidetracked; keep your feet from following evil.”

What has you sidetracked today? What is distracting you from the mission of God? How can you focus on what you need to do in order to avoid following evil?
