I grew up watching Mr. Rogers. There was something about his calm, kind demeanor that resonated with kids. I often wonder if kids growing up today in our fast-paced, entertainment-driven world, would enjoy the old shows. He is often quoted as saying, “There are three ways to ultimate success: The first way is to be kind. The second way is to be kind. The third way is to be kind.” Something happens when you are kind to others. The harsh, rigid exterior gives way to something sweet and soft.
Proverbs 16:24: “Kind words are like honey—sweet to the soul and healthy for the body.”
