This has been a challenging time. Plans have had to change. Ideas about public health have changed. Rhythms of life have been disrupted. If you are like me, you think back to the way things used to be and know that some things are never going to go back to “normal.” We have to find a new normal. But will life ever be “normal” again? As a pastor and leader, I have been trying to see into the future so I can make plans for my church family. The future is still a bit misty, but things are starting to clear up. As you and I make plans for the post-COVID19 world, let’s hold those plans with an open hand.
Proverbs 19:21: “You can make many plans, but the Lord’s purpose will prevail.”
God’s purpose is to glorify Himself. Let’s come alongside Him to that end.
