I love music. When you take a good lyric and a good melody and put them together, it is mesmerizing. Even though I am not a musician, I know when something is out of tune. It grates against the ears. I used to play the clarinet, and I was awful. I knew I was horrible, so I rarely played during our concerts. I didn’t want to upset the crowd. I just pretended to play along. We can’t act with God, though. When we are in tune with God’s will and character, life is good. We get in tune with Him through communication. Reading the Bible, where He communicates with us, and prayer, where we talk with Him. A life lived in sync with God is awe-inspiring.
Psalm 125:4: “O Lord, do good to those who are good, whose hearts are in tune with you.”
