Simple. I believe we all desire for life to be simple. We all go through phases of downsizing and re-prioritizing, all in an attempt to simplify life. When spaces are cluttered, it is confusing and decreases productivity and effectiveness. This is true of physical spaces such as our home or offices; it is also true of headspaces such as thoughts and emotions. The Apostle Paul found himself in a variety of complex situations in which he had to navigate them with boldness, love, and grace. He simplified his mission to the point wherein everything he did, he sought to bring glory to God. In today’s verse, he points out that if you are still alive, you best be living for Jesus. And if you die, you enter into His presence, which is glorious! Keep it simple, live, and die for Jesus.
Philippians 1:21: “For to me, living means living for Christ, and dying is even better.”
