Have you ever felt ignored? One of the significant problems facing relationships today is the failure to listen. We may hear people, but we aren’t listening. We “listen” to respond or defend. When you genuinely listen, you are seeing the persons hurt. You are identifying with their pain. When you need someone to listen, you can trust that God hears you. God does not ignore prayers. God does not withdraw or withhold love from His children. He wants you to bring your ugly to Him. Jesus already died for your sins. You don’t need to get pretty before appearing before your Heavenly Father. Simply believe in what Jesus has already done and then run to God! This results in deep worship, both by the forgiven and by those who know them.
Psalm 66:20: “Praise God, who did not ignore my prayer or withdraw his unfailing love from me.”
