Pray31 – Day 20: Romans 8:26

It isn’t too often I get tongue-tied. It seems like I always have something to say. There are times, though, where I am weary, tired, broken, confused, and don’t have the words to express my thoughts and feelings. It is in these moments that I can cry out to God and just say, “Enough! I don’t know what’s going on or what I should do.” It is in these moments where God, through the Holy Spirit, whispers to me, “I’ve got this.” I am so grateful that God knows what I need and when I need it.

Father God, I trust You completely. When I am confused, angry, or too upset to speak, I know that the Holy Spirit is interceding on my behalf. Help me to be comforted by this amazing promise in the Bible. Amen.

Romans 8:26: “And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.”
