Have you ever had a strange thought run through your mind and then immediately wondered from where it came? Our thought life tells a lot about us. What we spend time meditating on often influences what our hearts are drawn to, and our actions result from what occupies our heart. While most of our thought life is never made public, God knows exactly what we are thinking. Does that comfort, challenge, or convict you? Could you imagine what it would be like if thought bubbles appeared above us every time we had a thought? God doesn’t need to be told what we are thinking. He already knows. What are some things you can do to safeguard what you allow into your mind? How are you protecting the minds of your kids? Do you know what they are watching? Do you know the advertisements that play on the screen while they are using your phone? Set up some boundaries for your mind and theirs, and trust God to renew your mind as you study and meditate upon His Word!
Matthew 9:4: “Jesus knew what they were thinking, so he asked them, ‘Why do you have such evil thoughts in your hearts?’”
