For what do you want to be known? Your wealth? The car you drive? The clothes you wear? The way you smell? Your wit? Your generosity? Your compassion? Your service? What about gentleness? We often don’t think about our character when discussing our legacy. But what people remember most about you after you die is usually how you treated them. Perhaps that is why part of the Greatest Commandment is simply loving our neighbor. In all that we say, think, and do, may we be gentle and kind.
Philippians 4:5: “Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember, the Lord is coming soon.”
