Christian-you are holy; you are set apart; you belong to Christ. Don’t ever forget that. In this unholy world, we are surrounded by activities and attention-seeking demands that want to pull us away from Christ. I know it is a cliché, but we are to be IN the world, not OF the world. When we said “yes” to the free gift of forgiveness through faith in Christ, we were set apart. If you’ve been set apart, you are different. This means we don’t participate in the ugly, divisive, demonic ways of the world. We engage in this world with people and ideas so that God gets the glory, and the light of Christ shines brightly. Don’t get pulled down in the dung of unholiness. It is time to be wholly different and live up to the calling we have been given. Fight for God’s truth, God’s way, and God’s priorities. Stop the nonsense.
Philippians 4:21: “Give my greetings to each of God’s holy people—all who belong to Christ Jesus. The brothers who are with me send you their greetings.”
